DRIVER OF THE FIRST RACE CAR SHANE WORKED ON: Billy Alley in 2007

SHANE'S FAVORITE RACETRACK TO RACE AT: Knoxville and Husets

WHY: If you can master both of these tracks, then you will be a success.

GREATEST SPRINT CAR MEMORY:

Meeting Billy. Without meeting him, we would not be where we are today.

GOALS FOR 2008 RACING SEASON:

I want to run a clean, tight, and fair team. Learning from each race is what life is about.  If you concentrate on just the negative, then the positive tends to be overshadowed.

Each race we will evaluate what has went well and what could have gone better.  With this philosophy we will find success.

Our team is a democracy, not a dictatorship.  Every team member both on and off the track has an important job to do.  There are a lot of people behind the scenes that the public doesn’t realize help to make things happen. Without the support of our core group, none of this could be possible.  And with that said, this is how our team succeeds.

We are a close knit team that is here to represent our sponsors in a fashion that compliments their ethos and ethics.  That is the key to our upcoming success in the 2008 season.

ABOUT SHANE:

I grew up on a family farm in southeast Iowa.  I was exposed to racing through my fathers head mechanic who told me stories about Dean Sylvester, a class act sprint car driver.  I had the opportunity to meet Billy in 2007 and we hit it off.  I knew that I was talking to a great sprint car driver and together we could go far.

Billy and I compliment each other.  That is why it works.  We can anticipate each other’s thoughts and actions, and that is the key to a trusting business relationship.

I’m excited for the up coming summer for two reasons.  The first is my wife, Brooke, and I are expecting our first child.  Second, I get to share these experiences with Billy, his family, and the rest of the crew.

Honestly, I couldn’t be happier for how far SA Racing has come in such a short time.  Without the support of the crew and fans, none of this would have happened.

ABOUT BOB (written by Billy):

If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet Bob you are missing out.  Bob is a simple man who is full of knowledge, especially when it comes to the sport of sprint car racing.  Bob is self employed with a partner in the flooring business.  They work on special floors which are in hospitals, offices, restaurants, etc.  Bob is married with two daughters.  He is usually on a routine schedule and is very focused on whatever he is doing.  A lot of my success in life has been brought forth because of this man, and he will be a huge part in the success of SA Racing.
